Dear readers, welcome back to another blog post! Today I want to talk about the Bunkers in el Carmel, located in Barcelona. The Bunkers are located higher up in Barcelona and will provide you with a panoramic view over the city. The bunkers were built during the Spanish civil war in 1937.

The Bunkers are located in the Carmel area. The easiest way to reach Carmek is by taking the metro! The blue line (L5) will go to Carmel and from here you will have to walk up a little bit to end up in this beautiful place. It might be a little hike up there but I can assure you that the views won't disappoint you and it will be worth it.

Personally I went to the Bunkers two times, one of the times it was very cloudy so the views were not that clear but still nice I will insert a picture below.The second time that I visited this beautiful place it was very clear and you can see that in the pictures above. For the best views I recommend you to check the weather forecast and try to visit it at a day where there won't be to many clouds. Another tip that I would like to give you is to visit the place at the end of the afternoon and try to see the sunset. I promise you that it is beautiful and you surely won't regret it. The views are outstanding whether you go on a cloudy day or a sunny day but personally I prefer the views on a sunny day.

This place is just amazing. You will find a lot of people who are sitting up there together, enjoying a drink, eating some food together and basically just chill and hang out. Personally I am the type of person that can't sit still for a minute and I always want to do something but when I was sitting here with my friends I could really sit down and just relax which almost never happens.
