Shopping in Barcelona for less!
Welcome to a new blog post at Barcelona Adventures! In this post I will write about shopping for less. I will go over some stores that offer some good selection of items for a better price than the original price! A little disclaimer, it does not matter how much money you have and clothing does not have to be expensive! this is just a fun post with some tips for everyone.
1. Lefties
Lefties is an outlet shop in Spain that sells clothes from the company Inditex. Inditex owns big fashion brands like Zara, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius and a couple of ther brands. Lefties sells clothing from all these stores but slightly older collections and for a lower price! Personally I really don't care if something is out of season or if it is a little bit older! I went to the lefties store and found a great pair of basic black skinny jeans for just 7 euros! If you like the brands named above you surely have to check out Lefties! same clothes for a better price! Lefties can be found in some shopping malls in Barcelona such as Diagonal Mar, Glories and Maremagnum and also in the city center you can find Lefties! 2. Nike outlet
The Nike Factory store offers a big assortment of products for men, women and children. They sell clothing, shoes and accessorizes. The items that they sell here are all original items there is nothing wrong with them most of them are just from older seasons and collections and are priced a lot lower than the original prices.
You could say I am kind of a sneaker addict and that once again showed when I visited the Nike outlet store in Barcelona. I went there and unfortunately for my wallet I found two pairs of sneakers for a really good deal. Approximately a pair of Nike Airmax cost around 150 euros. I found two pairs which together where exactly 150 euros. For some this might seem like a lot of money but personally I think it was a great deal because I almost wanted to buy both of them couple of months earlier for the official price.
The Nike Factory store is near the Fondo metro station (L1) the red line. You can also go there by bus but personally I prefer the metro because it is little bit faster!
The stock can change within days so if you are going to this store you should not have an idea that you really want or need something you just have to go there with an open mind and maybe you will find a really nice peace for a great price as well!
3. Mango outlet
I'm sure most of you have heard of Mango, a store that sells nice casual clothing but also a little bit more business wear and nice accessorizes. The Mango outlet is easy to reach you either walk there from the Arc de Triomf which takes about 10 minutes, or you can take the Metro to the Girona stop (L4) yellow line. From here it is one way and takes about 5 minutes to the store. the store is located at Carrer de Girona
I really like the store it wasn't very huge but it had some great pieces! Unfortunately they did not have a lot in my size (L) but they really had some great offers! In the end I found a nice shirt and a pair of sunglasses. The shirts original price was 30 euros and I bought it for only 12! The sunglasses' original price were 25 euros and I only paid 10 for them! The sunglasses came with an original leather case and cleaning cloth! For me it was a great deal. I also saw that they had some suits for a great price! Normally the price of a full suit (Jacket and pants) is around 100-120 euros at Mango and in the outlet I saw them for something like 60-70 euros together!
One last thing, the stock also changes regularly so If you have time check it out maybe twice a month because maybe you are lucky enough to find some great deals yourself!
4. Outlet stores Carrer de Girona
In the same street as the Mango store there are about 5 or 6 other small outlet stores! The are all located next to each other. They all have a collection of different brands so I would recommend you to go to this street if you have some time and check it out! Some of the brands that can be found in these stores are: Superdry, Diesel, Replay, Gstar, Jack and Jones, Anthony Morato and more! Some of these brands can be quite expensive if you go to the original stores but in the outlet I saw some great deal and most of the items have an discount of at least 30% and higher.
Lastly I want to say that there are also stores like Primark and H&M which are rather affordable but Personally I can't always find something in these stores. If you like shopping for a lower price, finding those nice little gems and if you don't care that some of these items might be from an older collection then you should make sure to check out these stores!!
